I don’t know any Chinese. If you care about that, get yourself on outta here. I don’t need that kind of negativity. I’ve used three different translation sites, context clues, information from the first 6 books that are published in English, some of the dramas, and my imagination. It’s basically a HEAVILY edited MTL. Readers Tiffany X and Yvette (kind, beautiful souls) have volunteered their skilled Chinese-English speaking services to help me fix some of the things I’ve butchered, and translate the miscellaneous extras and side stories. If anybody still sees any glaring errors or typos, let me know and I’ll fix them in a jiffy. I’m perfectly fine with constructive criticism. Oh yeah, and I’m making ZERO profit from this (doing it in my free time) so if the author or publishers ever magically sees this, don’t sue my ass please.

For all you lovely newcomers, just wanted to warn you that as of 2/18/2023, I am pausing “Ghost Banquet” and resuming the online versions of Volumes 1-5 (so starting back with Heavenly Palace). I was planning to update/fix “Vol 10 Sand Sea” but never got around to it so you’ll notice some quality differences for anything after “Vol 9 Tibetan Sea Flower”. Reader Anna1997 put everything into pdf versions for you, so check out each tab if you want to download them (I also included the date they were last edited in case you found an old version somewhere).

And then I started reading the later part of volume 6 from your website it was quite a journey ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ I got so addicted to your translation and the novel , I’m having exams in 2 days later but still I couldn’t stop me from finishing the whole part ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ and I don’t know if I would pass my exams 😂 .

First of all, you’re very welcome 😘. Second of all, STUDY FIRST! 😂 Wu Xie and the gang aren’t going anywhere. They’ll definitely be here when you finish your exams (might be a nice treat too 😏). If you’ve finished vol 8 and don’t want to follow the chart on the homepage, then I think you can skip the first new years special and jump right into the Tibetan Sea Flower (in the sequels tab). The new years specials are actually sometimes referenced in the main plot later so I wouldn’t recommend skipping them but you can do what you want.

First of all, I would like to really thank you and others for the huge efforts in translating the books! I am new to the Lost tomb books and first I was atracted to the live action series. I began from the end (haha) watching first Reunion, because of Zhu Yi Long and I was hooked with the stories. Next I was searching for the others TV series and finally found the source: the books! It has been a while for me since I started to read The Lost Tomb, and I am very surprised to find out the English translation. Because this is one heck of a series, just only the main books are hell to translate, but you have also deal with the sides one too. And I know how hard this one is, I really do, it took me more than a year just to read and understand the main timeline and I still miss a great deal of small details.
Thank you for your dedication to this book series. And please keep going, you are doing a spectacular job ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

I just purchased Volume 1 on kindle but to have this blog as a reference not just for reading order but peace of mind when it starts to boggle in overdrive is amazing.

I have watched every series whether drama or movie including the |Providence side story that is literally 2.5 mins per episode. As much as I have enjoyed them, like anything the root source is best. Hence the need to start from the beginning. LOL, long haul about covers it but am used to that since I have 8 Wuxia Novels on the go including one that is at 4800 plus chapters and still going.
Your chart of link is comprehensive enough to help me know what to read and in what order and that is key to understanding. For that I oh so grateful.

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience, but I’m trying to read the novel now since I’m done watching the adaptations. When I first looked for Volumes 1-6, the book translation, it was still accessible, but now I need to ask for access. Am I allowed to ask for access or is it for admins only? I’m actually an introvert and not that good at English so, HEHEHEHE, I would be really glad if you could help me. I really like the Iron Triangle, and I’m still a student, so I can’t buy the books myself. Though I’m still thankful for the efforts of translating the volumes since it’s not that easy to translate them especially when Chinese is not your first language. i was first drawn into this universe when i saw same random clip on youtube, the anime version i was intrigued so i watched the whole season of that anime and read in the comments that it has dramas! and i was like woah,really?! and i immediately search it.
iwatch the whole series of ultimate note first because the comments said it was a fun adaptation to watch and i was’nt dissapointed, i wanted more! then i found out it was actually like the third season of the series but i did’nt care because i enjoyed it.
i didnt find any freenet translations of the first volume of the book,instead i read the summaries and i was hook and wanted more and heaven sent i found this site! now i can read the iron triangles adventures in detail! thank you very much.
i’m currently watching the other adptations just to know the stories of this daomu biji universe and i am in love with those three’s relationship! they have grown on me. i want more of their life threathening fun adventures! the histories of the tombs are so fasinating plus the supernatural and scientific sides to it is so fun to learn!
my all time fave drama’s from these franchise are the ultimate note and sound of providence!

Itʼs so cool seeing us all gathered here and interacting just because of the addictive stories NPSS has given us even if itʼs been long ago since it started. Time really flows. Haha, Iʼm saying that as if Iʼm an old fan. As if. Got into the pit a while back in the last few months of 2020 if Iʼm not wrong. Yeah, Providence really changed the hell out of my routine and I started to crazily wanting to know the underlying mystery behind Daomu Biji. As always. We usually only put them in pdf/epub format once Tiffany’s gone through and done her quality check. She’s been busy with real life stuff so she hasn’t gotten around to the Volume 2 part 2, Volume 3, and Volume 4 chapters yet. Making an epub is pretty easy. Just copy the chapters to a word doc, format it how you like, and then convert the file to epub using either Calibre (https://calibre-ebook.com/download) or some other website.
If you do make your own pdf/epub, I only ask that you don’t go around sharing it.

Thank you so much for translating this series. I’m a scaredy cat and tend to stay away from any genre relating to supernatural, I built up courage to read this mainly for the Iron Triangle 🥰. I was wondering if I ask for your help to clarify about the order of the raw chapters. I was browsing through the raw and saw Tomb Robbery Note 9 with the story about Kunlun Wolf Cave and was wondering where that fit into the whole story. I just got done with watching Ultimate Note and wasn’t sure if the Kunlun Wolf Cave was the continuation. I just used google translation so I’m not sure if that is the correct title.

Hi! That is fanfiction and it’s not written by NPSS. Looks like it was written by Evil Spirit with a Knife as a continuation of what they thought should happen after the end of the main series (so Volume 8).
I would completely ignore it unless you’re interested in seeing what that person thought should happen. But it’s def not canon
